My name is Richard Glickman and I am a furniture / cabinet maker. Growing up in London, UK, I always yearned to create with my hands, but it took many years to turn my creative passion into something more than a dream. Since 2015, I have been practicing traditional woodworking techniques and exploring my unique style as a furniture maker.
I pull a lot of inspiration from Japanese and Scandinavian woodworking aesthetics while continually striving to find my own creative expression. I love exploring joinery techniques that enhance the look of a finished piece while also displaying the high level of craftsmanship I continually strive to meet.
When creating custom furniture, I welcome a highly collaborative approach to ensure the finished piece is something my clients are excited to have in their home. The process begins with a rough idea of your style preferences and what you're looking to build. I'll guide you through the design phase, and we'll work together to establish the best materials and finishes for the job. Your piece will be handmade in our Squamish-based shop with the highest quality materials to ensure it will last a lifetime.
